Ghost Hound 11
After a long winter break we return to Ghost Hound… We start off in a misty forest. Our good woodland man is gathering food. He soon is distracted by a running silhouette of a man, the old man shrugs and we fade out. We see Tarou in one of his trances … he is floating about in human form. He notices a body floating near the dam. Tarou identifies it … was it the body of Mokoto? We won’t find out seeing as Tarou’s teacher woke him up… he was dreaming.
The journalist is taking pictures of the scenery of this town. He later goes to interview the major… but instead of asking normal ,politically orientated questions , he asked about he dam. How it was built and if there were any problems while building the structure. The major only noted out positive views about the dam. At that very moment his phone rang… the police had found a body in the dam! The major had to leave in a hurry , and so the reporter left with a small smile on his face.
Miyako is playing volleyball with her friends, suddenly she started acting strange. She froze up and started mumbling under her nose. Miyako’s hands were stone cold, and she mentioned the Kameiwa dam. When she shook off the trance, she told her teacher that someone had died in the dam . At that moment Tarou ran to find Masayuki . When he found him, Tarou told Masayuki that he saw a body in his dream… the windows started to rattle …. 3 helicopter surged through the air … heading for the dam. Almost instantly the boys grabbed their bikes and rushed to the dam. Tarou, Masayuki, Mokoto and the bullied boy.
Meanwhile in the bio-lab , our good doctor is working with an enhanced rat. It looked like he had some machinery installed in his head. The rat , as usual, is in a maze… trying to get out. Our doctor gets a message, someone invited her to coffee. A man is constantly looking at her, a pervert??? We’ll see.
Back at the dam the boy try to figure out where the body had came from. Masayuki states that the body couldn’t have floated out of the abandoned hospital… to everyone’s surprise. Even I wouldn’t have thought of something like that.
Unfortunately the bullies also got to the dam… they wanted to speak to Masayuki, but when he showed his face…. One of the seniors went pale like a milk and ran as fast as he could. The rest also left , wondering why he got so scared. All Masayuki said was : “convenience store”. Miyako and the priest got to the dam as well. The priest stated that the curse might be real ,but when asked to expand on this he turned away … only to notice Sanea !… a women that looks like she’d been exorcised not once. Mokoto also reacted differently on her arrival. We see scenes from Mokoto’s family picture. Turns out that its Mokoto’s mother, and at the same time the priest is madly in love with her… but doesn’t know what to do. He explained that during his high school years he and Ogami used to call her Madonna . We also learn that the priests and Ogami and the major also visited the hospital , to visit the haunted cell. When they got there they all laughed … there was no curse, nothing happened. But soon they felt each others feelings … they didn’t want to be with each other. Ogami wanted to see the autopsy room … the guys and Sanea told him not to go there but eventually he got passed them and entered the dark abyss. All this time Mokoto and Tarou where dreaming of this event… Mokoto followed Ogami into the abyss , while Tarou followed Sanea, and the rest, who wanted to leave. Ogami got outside quickly, he stood and waited for the rest. No-one knew why Ogami left the hospital , the way a death corpse would normally… was it a sin? All we know is that he killed himself not to long afterwards.
After that the meeting pretty much ended… Mokoto couldn’t listen to anymore of this… even more so seeing as it was his father they were talking about. The 4 of them went home…with anew mystery. On his way home, Masayuki sees his father … who is ruefully kissing the doctor. Turns out that the pervert from work is actually Masayuki’s dad…
